Holey Shamoley! I can't believe it's been over four months since I last did a page. It's been way too long and I hope some of you find your way back.Life continues to be a bit of a roller coaster and the schedule is full, but this comic cannot be allowed to fade away!Anyway, welcome back!This page picks up a cliffhanger from over a year ago! Remember? The owner had decided to close the store!I went with hand drawn black and white again. It seems to be a good “drag myself out of a hiatus” tactic. We'll probably see a return to color sometime soon, though.

@Pei - indeed it is!

Yup, that's definitely a reason for carrying around a somber demeanor :S...

@KimLuster - videos and tanning beds is an odd combo! We have one store left in my town. Sad!

@tupapayon - that's such a poetic ode to video stores! I love it!

There's still a Video Store near where I live... People go there because it has tanning beds *shrug* ;)

There are a few Family Video stores still open... I see them as if they were the last member of a race of giants that once roamed the earth... vestige if a long gone time, now lost in a dusty memory in the great book of history... oh, the cruelty of father time! Only rumors and legends will survive...

@El Cid - It also works for goldfish! Something does. Wait...I think I have the same problem...

Well, his face is sorta longish all the time, really. I'd forgotten about the "store closing" storyline, so I get to be shocked all over again. Life stays interesting when you have a short memory. It works for goldfish!

@bravo - holy smokes, you're right! It might be worthwhile to include some little connections to the first issue. Not that this is the last issue; but i guess it's a "season finale of sorts.

The return to black and white also symbolic of a return to the beginning, when the comic was black and white.

@KimLuster - HAHAHAHA! Wow! That's quite a roller coaster you've been on, yourself! I had no idea things could get so dramatic so quickly! XD
@ghostrunner - Haha! Not sure if that's advice for people working at a video store, or advice for a procrastinating web comicker. Either way, well said!

@Gunwallace - HAHA! And the Manna from Heaven shall be...delivered. Within half an hour. With a side of cheesy stix!

@Call Me Tom - thanks! I guess the black and white does suit this moment in their lives. Good call on TK...I'm not sure where he would find a permanent place either, but he will be at least pondering it soon...
at 6:22AM, June 9, 2016
I was positive you wouldn't let this thing just fade away... But yeah, for a sec I had forgotten about the store-closing thread, so when I saw TK's sign I thought for a sec you were preparing a 'goodbye' page for the comic... And I was going, 'Noooooooooo...' and then I was looking for a puppy to hug and accidentally stepped on its tail, and it was crying and I was crying and... Glad you're back!! ;)

I feel tha black and white fits the mood of this story! I've got to wonder how is T.K. going to surive outside of the store, he's a slacker and they don't do well at moving to a new job where there expected to work!
