I have made entrances like that, it's overrated. One really needs the fedora and trench-coat to pull it off. A 45 in a shoulder holster helps too.

@gullas - thanks, gullas! You know, I've been poking at another "origin" story or three, including one where we see how Penelope and Oscar met. Meantime, I got a theory about Oscar's reluctance...it probably has something to do with "wanting what you can't have, and not wanting what you CAN have". We'll see a glimspe of that, a couple issues after this, in "The Princess and the Penelope"...hahaha. That's a few months off, though...
