A new arrival…um…arrives!Behind the Secret Door:I try to make each page understandable/enjoyable even if it's the first page someone's reading. Not always successfully, but I try. This one would be a HORRIBLE first page for someone to read. But sometimes, ya gotta explain what the hell's going on…And there's more ‘splaining to come. But I’ll try and keep the wordiness down now…

@El Cid - Exactly! XD

Luke, I am your farther!

@El Cid - Hahaha! Well, I introduced a villain out of nowhere...I won't push it any further. Farther? Further.

All they need now is to be rescued by a British super secret agent.

...and I'll address the Oscar relevance soon, too!

@Kou - Ah, TV Tropes! How I love that website! And I've been meaning to start a page for Typical Strange. Soon as I have the motivation...and the ego...I'll start that up! Good call on the Genre Savvy thing!
at 8:04PM, May 15, 2014
@bravo - Haha! Good point. And yes, I remember that story, for sure! Truth can be a whole lot like fiction (okay, that's not the saying, but still!). If you look up from the proper angle, this sort of thing is going on all over the place. It's true! Hit a neighborhood in your area with some tallish buildings and at least five of those rooftops will be hosting events like these on any given day.

@KimLuster - haha...since reading this comment I've been trying to compose her next pieces of dialogue...hopefully the grammar will be as strangely tangled as the plan! XD

well, if this comic has a TVTropes page, i think we can safely say TK is definitely of the 'Genre Savvy' trope, a trope i always like to see. Also how was her dating Oscar relevant to his plan? Or did that just kinda happen?
at 12:53PM, May 15, 2014
And this is all on the roof of a building downtown? Guess rooftop parties with tied up people and spies all in black is common around here.
at 12:38PM, May 15, 2014
An assassin needs someone important to kill so we know the target isn't TK or Oscar. And as for sexy KGB agents don't you remember that spy ring in NY with the sexy red head a few years back? May be a cliche but it's quite real even mundane.

This is becoming Strangely Tangled! :)
at 12:06PM, May 15, 2014
Oh I remember her now... Oscar's Date :D "TK and the Poopington is now to die!!"
at 11:04AM, May 15, 2014
@jerrie - Thanks jerrie! That doesn't seem wrong at all! I laughed at "off the roof with Poopington" XDDD ...and you made me realize I spelled assassin wrong so I fixed it. Thanks!
at 10:22AM, May 15, 2014
is it wrong to say she's sexy even though she's an assassin and is about to kill TK?(notice i left Poopington out of this....i don't like how Poopington treated TK...so...off the roof with Poopington) well, I'm saying it anyway...she's HOT! love your work on the building
at 10:17AM, May 15, 2014
I'd disagree with him here, though...the sexy KGB agent is a worse cliche. XD
at 10:13AM, May 15, 2014
@KimLuster - Haha...Well, TK seems more outraged at the cliche than lustful or fearful. S'all about priorities. And of course, we've seen this gal before, on one page this issue (didn't want to hint it any more than that)...it's been a couple weeks though...more to come on that...and more Blondie next page, too!
at 10:02AM, May 15, 2014
Haha, well she is sexy! In the last panel, I half-expected T.K. to be smiling lasciviously at the idea of a sexy assassin/agent, despite facing his imminent demise :) Blondie still has my attention!
