Vanguard - Thumbs to pages 3
MrHades on March 6, 2012
Hello!
I made this to show how I plan my pages with thumbnails before
starting on actual artwork. As you are probably aware, issue four is action focused on military based action the first few pages before moving onto big crowd scenes. Thumb nailing the sequences lets me get my head around what
works and doesnt.
I'm pretty faithful to the layouts, but at times it just does not
work out on the page or panels are merged to help with flow, hence some
minor changes.
As always, thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

Well, I draw my pages in separate sections, so planning them is a must. They usually end up looking like crap when I just slap them together.

interesting to see how artists work!

I always like to see this sort of things. Some of my pages are over planned out and some just arrive born and warm blooded. Depends on how well my idea of the page is before hand.

I tend to do mental page layouts... but then I always end up changing them at the last minute... often for the worse! I should probably take a page out of your book and be more organized!
