I'm getting much quicker! I was able to do this whole thing in a couple of hours, start to finish. Had I another hour, I would have added more detail, but off to work I go!

You'll improve with speed whence you get the right tools. For example: I can whip up a comic in a 1/2 hour with my tablet. However, if I pencil a drawing, then trace it with inking, well... ...Your speed will improve overall I guess would be a better statement.

The joke is that when young you typically exchange valentines at school. The person with the most valentines is generally the most popular. Valentines often come in the shape of a heart. She's just making sure she has the most "hearts" this year. :)
