Damn, I think it's just starting to hit me how we're almost at the end.

Right, so last week I talked about starting my own publishing company. This past week I've been doing some research for a school project into the subject (Hooray for using personal hobbies as a way to pass class) and I think I could go for it. I'll set up an online store where people can order the comics, and then when there's enough demand or money, I'll move into comicbook stores.

Of course, I shall need investors. Both comic creators and money people. Of course, the former is no problem. In all little comic communities there is no shortage of people looking to be published. Money might be a little tougher, but I think I've worked out something. First I wait a month or two for people to pre-order their copies once the .pdf files have been finished. Also, I'll allow for maybe six-eight pages of full colour advertising. That way, when the bill comes I won't be as poor as I could be when I pay up.

And as for the opening titles? I've been thinking of starting within drunkduck, with the people who haven't been taken on by Platinum yet. Maybe MAG-ISA, Life and Death, Temple of a Thousand Tears, Shades, White Noise and possibly an anthology sort of like the DD one, except unlike Platinum I won't screw it up.

Right, so I'm going to leave it another week to think about my approach, but if you guys have anything you want to see in print, post here and tell me which comic, then I'll PQ you with a few things I need to know about the comic. Hopefully, this will lead to good things. And yeah, still the same pricing scheme as last week, unless I can make it cheaper.

Until next time
