Willem 122

Here is your Willem update for the week, hope you enjoy it! There's 2-3 pages left of this flashback and then we'll be getting back to present time. I can't wait to draw Willem in all his blue haired glory again. I'm currently working on the Devil Spy update which should (fingers crossed) be up tomorrow. I will be at Geekgirl Con in Seattle next weekend, if you're gonna be there come say hi to me! Updates for next week might be late since I'll be tabling all weekend, but I'll try to get ‘em up in a timely fashion!
Some of you may have read earlier that I am seeking comic books or series that feature teenage speedsters. If you have any recommendations, let me know. I’ve read all of Impulse and Young Justice, but haven't read many super hero comics since the early 2000's. Teen super hero is good too, even if it doesn't have a speedster. Thanks in advance!
Also, I'd just like to mention if you don't follow me on Deviantart or Tumblr, you're missing out on all kinds of good stuff! Like Copic marker drawings, fan art, character drawings and my blog (on DA only). Follow the links below and check it out!

He's supposed to have said that to her right before they took off, but I couldn't put it in word balloons because he'd be traveling too fast to talk, so I put them in the narrative boxes, but yeah, it doesn't really make a lot of sense, haha. I couldn't think of another way to do it (save drawing another panel of them talking, haha).

The way it's written. Might just be my inner literature teacher coming out though. Shouldn't it be more like "It'll take a fraction of a second to adjust my speed for her", or "... For her to adjust to my speed"?

In looks or the way it's written?

Something about the text in panel one feels ... off.
