I have always pronounced it Tan-jee. But I have this fascination I guess that they actually speak in speech bubbles so that somehow Tanjii can see when people spell her name wrong. Just a running joke that makes me laugh and gives Tanjii some character. Btw...it was totally my fault for accidently spelling it different ways. When I realized the error I decided to turn into a subplot/running joke.

I still read Tangii as Tangy and Tanjii as Tan-jie or does she pronounce it the Hawaiian way: Tan-jie-ee?

It would've been great if my parents had given me a Mexican name like Xicotencatl or Nezahualcoyotl... Instead they gave me a Jewish name... Well... Judeo-Christian...
