So, how long have you wanted to make a comic?

Ever since I was a wee tyke, about the age of thirteen/fourteen

What made you want to make comics?

Other comics, having that jealously complex as well as free time during that one spring break.

What/who influences your art style?

Pokemon. Ya-huh. Initially, it was Pokemon that set the guide of my drawing. Dominic Deegan too concerning profiles. Now, it's a mix of CLAMP's work and Minami-ke (anatomy and facial expressions). I call my art style quanga. Quang plus Manga - GENIUS.

What/who is the inspiration for your writing?

For my writing, I look at real life. You know, the old slice-of-life style of ‘haven’t this happened to you too'. Recently, I've been inspired by Lucky Star, a slice-of-life humour mixed in with anime references and character interactions. And sillyness.

Is getting published your goal with your comics or is this just a hobby?

Oh, no no no. It's just a hobby. I mean, if this was really published, I'd be on the run from so many policemen.

Do you have a drawing ritual or is there anything that has to be for you to work on your comics?

Yes. I have to use a pencil and draw. Once, I tried using scissors to draw my comic, but that was no good. Call me superstitious if you will, I just can draw a comic with it.

Which page of “Naive” is your favorite?

I hate them all equally. No discrimination here. But seriously, I guess writing wise it's #11: Chicken Pokin' Good, just because I love the sheer lack of logic. Artistically speaking, #61: Cruise Control, as it is where I finally met the goal I wanted, realistic yet down right silly.

Does comic character Antony use a lot of product to get his hair to stand up like that?

Actually, it is rumoured there's a mutation in his DNA which causes him to produce a special compound, which causes his hair to defy gravity. Scientists call it the ‘Fork Head Factor’. Religious fanatics see it as an omen for disaster. Antony sees it as hair.

If you could snatch any other artist's skills, which artist(s) would that be?

Pastel, and Kitty17 for starters. Then I'll nab some of CLAMP's and then Jin Kobayashi (School Rumble). And then maybe Tom Cruise. I'm curious to how he draws.

Who are your heroes/role models?

KytoAnimation, if that counts. They manage to pull off emotional and heartwarming scenes. Kagami Yoshimizu (Lucky Star) and Kiyohiko Azuma (Azumanga Daioh) because they are just talented at what they do.

If you were a pizza, what toppings would you have?

If I were a pizza, I'd be more worried about the fact that I've become a sentiel being, capable of thought, rather than toppings. But regardless, I'd have sweet corn and chicken. Or ham and pineapple. I'd still eat myself.

Last but not least…are you really an artificial intelligence bent on world domination? If so, how could one defeat you?
