For those of you who are new to the whole zombification thing, A zombie is someone who is killed, and brought back to life in any way or form (be necromancy, infected by a reanimated viral disease, ect.).Zombies usually have rotting cells and a craving for “brains” Symptoms of zombification (brought to you by Max Brooks, creator of The Zombie Survival Guide) are as followed….

Max Brooks
Hour 5: Fever (99-103 degrees), chills, slight dementia, vomiting, acute pain in the joints.

Hour 8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased temperature (103-106 degrees), Increased dementia, Loss of muscular co-ordination.

Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slower heart rate

Hour 16: Coma

Hour 20: Heart stoppage, Zero brain activity

Hour 23: Re-animation
For the living, know your enemy…for the undead, recognize your brethren.

How long does it take for a zombie outbreak to take control over a city? Try out this simulator and see for yourself…

Not very long eh? Well people…this thread was meant for discussion so…What do you classify a zombie to be?

Oh yes I remember that thread!

Now Max Brooks has very believable and extremely interesting theory's on zombification…I however share some different suggestions in the process of zombification. When he says the brain shuts down (0 brain activity) I believe certain sections still work…Like the zombie has undergone a combination of madness, brain damage, and mental retardation.
