cost less to buy a trailer then to rent a small room.. i can pay for it in two chunks.. and then space rent to park it in is the same as renting a bed… its not a house but its nice to have space.. and a door i can lock… and a fridge to put milk in…

I'll be sending over a battery-powered carbon monoxide detector on Wednesday, plus a little money for the batteries (the post office doesn't want to send batteries through the mail).
I hope that at some point in the future that things will improve enough that you can rent this out to others who are in the same situation you've been in. :)
This is a great change, both for quality of life and safety. If I may recommend some accompaniments to the milk: eggs, carrots, tomatoes, cheese, lunch meat, maybe some iced tea when you need a little bit of a brain boost.
Make sure you crack a window open - the manual says 9 square inches. These type of propane heaters use oxygen from the room and vent exhaust gases into the room. Carbon monoxide shouldn't be a problem if it's working properly, but in case it's not working properly you'll want a carbon monoxide detector so it doesn't kill you. The feeling of suffocation you get when you hold your breath comes from the CO2 concentration getting too high. You will not notice if the amount of oxygen gets too low. The heater is supposed to have an oxygen sensor and shut off if it gets too low. But you're trusting your life to that sensor. A friend who uses one in an ice fishing shed runs it at high to build up heat, then turns it off (and closes the window) before going to sleep, relying on residual heat to keep the shed warm.
The one I have says it has tip over safety and is safe for indoor use..I have a Small fire extinguisher.. Have never needed it..but my camp stove has scared me a few times..worry more that cat will knock something on it..so I turn off before I go ..
My friend's worried about you, she wants to make sure your Buddy Heater is at least as safe as these Tank Tops: https://www.homedepot.com/b/Heating-Venting-Cooling-Heaters-Space-Heaters-Gas-Heaters-Propane-Heaters/Tank-Top/N-5yc1vZc6znZ1z0una3

Most importantly, have someone who knows about this kind of thing check every inch of the electrical wiring and fuses.

This may mean some housewarming gifts are in order.
