I hope Lan leaves the farm roughly intact so that the media can make the comparisons it wants, also photos of the place would make great evidence, i get the feeling it will be the icing on the cake for the thick headed media to get the picture...

I bet WW thinks similarly about Lan, with all he's been through... All that said when lan does get his days in court I have trouble seeing Lan taking the Oath without modifying it significantly let alone his testimony being unquestioned though that said if the validity of his testimony is questioned on grounds of his race and/or record it would only further his case. If one claims Lan's every act is deception then one could argue the definition of deception as proof of sentience. If one claims he killed innocent people, another could claim he was bringing serial killers, that the law turns a blind eye to, to justice. If he was asked why it was necessary so many die he could ask if he'd get a day in court if they hadn't.
