One Last thing on this page when will Lan announce his "Evil Plan to protect his children and give them opportunity" to the world? I mean seriously people need to where on the scale Lan really is. They would find his 'political' colors to be quite patriotic (slightly lightish red) blue and a shade of white with blue tint... one can argue Lan's Red White and Blue all the way through :] hey SOMEONE had to make that joke eventually

Riley how hard would it be for a teem of pooka to camp outside the next farm they take out to set up illusions of the guys burning the place and literally still the camera to show whats going on without killing the cast and crew so they can show them around the place and return the camera and get out? hostages would be an option also keeping the news idiots close (not allowing a clear shot).

I still say jumping from shoulder to shoulder cutting the carotid artery would be a very effective means of taking out enemy forces quick hard to anticipate and they will be "at a lose at how to extradite" their buddies without killing them before it's too late when they are turned then they shape-shift quickly dealing out damage and shift back

wait i just realized numerous bodies with cuts from raccoon like claw marks cutting the carotid artery found in a short period of time would be cause to investigate, one body would look like a random animal attack where the animal hit the artery but if it temporarily replaces the zombie attacks (not a bad idea for Lan to play dead and build up his golem arsenal and train the pookas)would do two things make the news sound accurate and display an intelligence in whatever race the assassins would be. maybe they start with the people who ordered the farm burned and the ones who authorized a crime scene to be destroyed. Wait I just realized something all Lan has to do to discredit all evidence the media has against him is to take off his shirt then he can't be pinned to anything and all anyone has on him is hearsay seeing as there is no gaping hole in his chest then he'll be let off the hook.

i see quite a few errors in that plan to hide the evidence first and foremost being the people killed by the hundreds and no one reported missing in those numbers, the time it would take conflicts with the time Lan could have been there, they more then likely used electronic transactions and all electronic data floating through the cloud can be recovered, then there's the alter which can easily be traced back to the farm i imagine. And they can be put away for destroying evidence. I know have a pooka raiding party take over a news station half of which would have prison numbers telling their story even if its not believed it would prove pooka sapience and force investigation. Lan being with them (and making sure the news tellers aren't killed just with swords pressed against the neck or the carotid artery just under the left ear... yes i quoted Lenard McCoy from S1EP22 original Star Trek also known as Khan's first appearance.
