ah miss read the page Joe is referring that the Pooka are an unknown factor so the centaur don't know much about them. Strike my first sentence of my last post there.

Hmmm yeah i kind understand their hesitance if they keep a history far back enough that they could remember a Pooka going to war it probably would make them fearful. While not as powerful as a Dragon or as ingenious as a Human(I'm going on stereotypes here) the shear flexibility that a Pooka's pwoeful shape shifting abilities would provide on the battle field would be quite terrifying especially if the were trained as a professional soldier.

I find Lan's shock statement very ironic, as there are 4 people he could be referring to Rhea, Persephone, his birth mother and Sky... I know he is using it as a figure of speech but still he might accidentally be inviting someone to come (his birth mother) who would love to embarrass him a bit especially around any one of 10 individuals (ok any one of 9 individuals, one of them is too much of a B***H to count) important to him let alone all the grand-kids she can...

the dragons and the equine races (centaurs, Unicorns, and the like) are among the few who remember what even the Pooka have almost completely forgotten, that they are capable of competing with dragons in natural combat abilities, as Red told Summer long ago "there is one thing you never want a Pooka to turn into" "an enemy" if only she listened. Once they enlist the help of the Cheshires, I don't see how they could be stopped. Cheshires are natural teleports, not even the journey that almost ended the rebellion would be an issue just poof and they are gone, a great answer to their logistical issues...
