Episode 41 - The Best Laid Plans, Awry and A Wreck

Sep 6, 2011

ozoneocean had big plans for his trip to San Diego Comic Con to promote his comic, which basically went completely wrong in almost every way possible. He tells his story and what he did to try and recover. What could go wrong for you and what would you do?

Topics and Show Notes

The best way to recover from Plan A going wrong is to have a Plan B... but it's hard to predict what might mess up. We discuss some common ways that convention and webcomic plans go awry and some things which could be done to mitigate the pain. With conventions it's all the problems oz had: costs, merchandise and promo material not arriving, etc... and with webcomics you get things like losing collaborators, hosting going down, and so on. There's some questions you might ask yourself, and a good attitude never hurts!
