Fitz: Actually I have heard that one about something eating her head before :-D As for space operas, I'm not particularly experienced… I never read Silver Surfer (shame on me), and my favorite movie having to do with Space is still 2001. However, I love the sort of “to boldly go where no man has gone before” attitude, and I really miss those adventure shows where anything can happen… no matter if it's in space or on earth.

At first I thought that what appears to be her helmet now was in fact eating her head. LOL! Love the cosmic mess around her. I appear to be more down-to-earth on some level to ever come up with a space opera, so I appreciate someone who can. Also, this immediately makes me think of the Silver Surfer, both as far as the scenery is concerned and story-wise.

DAJB: I'll keep that in mind ^^ ...actually the tentacles are not completely used in a non-sexual context here, I'm not as innocent as I look *haha*! The tentacles go well with her revealing outfit, and again, that should all make sense beyond teasing the audience.

Tentacles are cool. And they encourage rabid fangrrls to scream "tentacle porn!" even when there clearly isn't any such thing. And, since that generates lots of net publicity for comics, they're doubly cool. More tentacles, please!

Thank you both very much! As for the tentacles... it's scary that we both used them in our comics at the same time, isn't it? As for me, I can say I've never drawn tentacles before ^^

LOVE IT!! I have to admit, since you first posted the teaser of this on Smackjeeves, i've been looking forward to this comic. Great opening scene.

Tentacles...what is up with tentacles now a days? this is great new page Abt...I love the angles here...little disorienting to be thrown right into this active scene
