Chapter 6 Page 15

Brace yourself - there's only one page left and it will update tomorrow!!.
Man, it's barely two weeks ago, but I don't even remember how I came up with the Schrödinger quote. It definitely wasn't by coincidence; I had read “What is Life?” a few years ago, and some parts of it lingered in the back of my head.
I must say, I was pushing myself on this page, and I only put in all the details because I knew this was the last chance for me to ever put in details while working on this comic! :P
Okay, what's happening here? It's fairly obvious to me, but hey, I might totally fail at communicating it, so I'll just go ahead and say it: Sunhra ate Ed and thus gained his special ability. As he said in chapter 1, his will travels along a current, and Sunhra being connected to the city's power system… well, let's just say it doesn't bode well for the city… or the rest of the world. Everything's connected these days.
Thanks for reading and commenting!

Fitz: By “philosophical statement” you mean the Schrödinger quote? I'm sure he'd rather have it understood as a statement of physics :P But well, it's something like meta-physics (not metaphysics in the usual sense, which isn't informed by physics all that much, while Schrödinger's “What is Life?” is very much based on the physical and chemical knowledge available at the time), so it might really count as philosophy in a way. Out of context, it might seem grim (and maybe in the context of signifikat, that isn't too wrong), but as a physical explanation of life, I think it is rather neutral. Just means that in order to create orderliness in your room, you need to eat! :P
Nepath, Zephyrion, mmm bacon0, Peipei, Jabali: Thanks!

That's what I call an epic finale! :D And it resonates with me in so many ways. My instant association with Akira... Then there's old "gods" being replaced by new ones - one of the main themes of Neil Gaiman's "American Gods", a book I finished reading just this week (and one of the best books ever!). And while sometimes I have trouble really grasping neatly worded philosophical statements, I liked this one for the grim outlook on life and exisence. I'm so thrilled to read tomorrow's page! I can already hear "I can't stop loving you!" bursting out among the flames and fountains of debris ;)
