i LOVEEEEE books i have my julio verne and agatha cristy collection (i only need the miss apple collection and i'm done xD)... i own several copies of the same books too xD a have a few in english but most of them are in spanish... i have 3 book shelves and a closet full of books and i identify with Sara a lot, love my books and i have to save and protect them... sometimes i read them 3 or 4 times... never get tired of then >.

I have the tendency of acumulate DVD's, books and comics and never have the time to take a look at them... I bought the entire Sergio Leone's "Dollars Trilogy" 6 months ago, and still haven't watched it...

I read a lot of books, I currently own nearly 200 and my book shelf is overflowing, there's books on the floor 'cause I ran out of room =x Can't wait to see Leo again, she's so awesome! >w

I am an obsessive bibliophile - between my husband and me, we have literally thousands of books (and I have several hundred more out at my dad's in Montana). We don't have enough shelf space, so there are piles of books EVERYWHERE ... it's rather crazy. But I love books. Sometimes I'll read one that I don't like as much; sometimes I'll run across one so bad I don't even finish it - those I take to a used book store and trade for more books. My husband NEVER gets rid of a book, even if he has multiple copies of the same one (I think he has 3 Shoguns and 4 Art of Wars). I think the former rat room will be changed to a library once all the cages are cleaned out and some of them are sold - eventually I'd like to get some rats again, but I don't anticipate ever have over 100 again, so doubt we'll need 20 cages plus all those aquariums! LOL That will leave room for bookcases and I can finally unpacks all those boxes piled up in the corner in there and see what sort of damage was done during the wild rat episodes of 2004 - 2006.

I understand Sara's attachment to books. I am a pack-rat when it come to my collection of over 50 years. Occasionally, I will review my hardcovers and donate some to my local rural library. Some go onto the library shelves but most go onto their used book cart where their sale supplements the library's acquisition budget.

Not a fan of Salinger I'm afraid, however I can understand the book thing. During one move a few years ago one of the movers looked at me after moving about half of my boxes and boxes of books (78 boxes) and said, "couldn't you have read some of these damm things before you moved?".

I've picked up a few books that I somehow missed out on during my misspent school years. I must admit I hated [i]Catcher in the Rye[/i], but I absolutely adored [i]To Kill a Mockingbird[/i] and [i]Huckleberry Finn[/i] (who says Americans don't understand irony?!) Now ... waiting for my invite to the party!

My whole room is cluttered with books and my partner says that we'll have to have a spare room for all my books and CDs when we move together :) And yeah, Cather in the rye is pretty good book!
