That's true Bear but I've always given Nikki a straighter nose with the aim of creating a fairly androgenous look so that she looks pretty cute dressed as either a male or a female. Just lately though I've noticed she sometimes looks a bit too much like Janey which is probably a sign that I miss Janey tooo much! lol ;)

Well, hardly cause for a "wrist slap" B-) Pamel 3 does have a straight nose - but hey! both sexes have soft/hard/long/short etc., in the beak dept. I remember watvhing a prog a few years ago, centred on Sydney's various gender id's. One guy was just a "natural" in a dress and make-up (not overdone) on the weekend. B-) SO he could be your Nikki, easily.

Phantom: I'm assuming you are relating to May's family yea? Both my grans often felt hurt that they got so few visits in a year and at times I was no exception. I really adored my gran on my mum's side but when she remarried her hubby never made us feel terribly welcome so our visits became shorter. I used to drop in and visit my gran on my dad's side every afternoon after school as she was on my route home so I also became very aware of how little her own sons ever visited her. I think with modern life putting people under so much stress to stay in work and run a home that simple stuff like visiting family can seem very time consuming. I'm very fortunate though in that my mum lives within a 20 min drive from our house and my dad's house is just 20 mins walk away.

Tupapayon: She's definitely a bit dotty but she has a heart of gold too.:) ........................................................................................................................... Fallopian: I love the cupcakes too!lol ........................................................................................................................... DV: I've always found it easier to draw women so when doing guys I have to work harder to make them look masculine! With Nikki though it's always been easier to relax and draw her as female but I do normally give her a straighter nose in the side shots. I thought she looked gorgeous in panel 3 especially and was going to dumb her down but couldn't bring myself to spoil the look! :)

bear: Haha yea I know, I need to slap my wrists for making Nikki look too gorgeous! Since going single tho I felt she now has more time to try and look her best and feel relaxed enough to hold the look for as long as she likes, so this could just be a happy make-up day. The painting on this one was Becky's decision btw.:)

Awwww poor old lady...! The onset of senility is so tragic, but can be the source of much humor (yeah I'm going to hell haha). Plus, some people just refuse to accept what's right in front of their eyes... My father-in-law wouldn't accept that a son is his was gay for two years after he 'came out' (he's just going through a phase...). The rest of us knew years ago, when he was a young lad (he had all the 'signs' - hope I don't seem too stereotyping, but sometimes it's just... obvious). So, Nikki is exuding extra femininity on this page! Fantastic art as always!
