Barry: I'm a shameless ref vulture these days, I'll get those poses right in whatever way seems best. I'll occasionally use personal pics if I can't find what I'm after but I've often wasted a lot of time trying to guess how I look to the camera and my timer only lasts 10 secs so I normally don't get back to my position in time anyway! So I prefer to sort through my refs over a teabreak and shortlist the pics I really feel captures the pose or emotion in the best way.

DV: Hi,sorry for the late response. It's reasonable to assume Lucy has been looking for Sarah, yes but it wasn't her aunt's shop she was working at, that was Janey working for her aunt. I can see how this has led your imagination astray tho. :) As for Lucy's eyes, now the two are finally back in touch most of the storyline will now revolve around them so I'll bear that in mind while planning the panels! ;)

Dear Sky, You are On to something DV. Maybe Lucy did not want aunt to know she was interested in a girl (Sarah) because, regretably not everyone is LGBT friendly. OR Aunt may know about, and accept Lucy's life, yet may feel she should not help Lucy in her quest for girlfriends:) passion? seems every thing is in place. Lets hope stalker girl does out find out:) tommym

Went back a few pages before the ad page, and just wanted to know: when are we going to see Lucy's lovely blue eyes again? Maybe glazed over in passion? ;)

Bah! Logged in to comment, and the page went away! :( Oh well, did get to see it so will comment anyway :P So, this means that Lucy had been looking for Sarah since back then as well? Or at least, wanted to talk to her when she stopped working but didn't think to ask her aunt (? it was her aunt who owned slash ran the shop, wasn't it?) to maybe keep an eye out, or maybe she did but her aunt didn't realise the girl asking about Lucy was the one she was to be looking out for :p

The body language is just perfect. Do you use photo reference, or maybe just pose in the mirror? I know a lot of artists that work that way.

Kim: I loved choosing the poses for this page. I know you yourself were expressing about the use of body language on 'The Godstrain' a few weeks ago and this page was just crying out for the right sort of moves. As for Lucy's hair, umm yea it has been a long while in real time but in comic time I've really no idea. I may have to go back and tug her down a little more! ;)

Tommym: What I loved most about doing the very first chapter was that almost every page was about Sarah and Janey's feelings towards one another and the courtship dance that brought them close then spun them at arms length again. It's become more complicated now as there are so many more characters involved but I did want to have fun exploring that kind of dance again but this time dealing with more choices too. :)

AMG this is early! And here I am at 3 at night to discover this... Also now we know its her note (not that it comes as a surprise but it's still funny that she mentions it... I remember first time I read it i thought it was an add for a call-girl or someone looking for someone for a movie or something.... (yeah i'm not really brightXD).
