When starting something lots of times we are afraid…afraid of success or defeat. I was afraid to do my comic cuz I didnt knew where to start…that was the problem.

My phycologist told me..well why dont you start and practice while you do it?

Its incredible how a simple phrase changed my attitude for ever, I was making this error, I was so perfectionist….emmm…like em..I didnt want to do errors…so I didnt do nothing..and that made me frustrated.

So the solution was to start from scratch..and look where I am..just look the 1 page and the new one…theres a difference.

And from my point of view, I dont really care about hits..or page views or comments..or thumbs up / down, or critics…I just do something I love (create), thats the biggest satisfaction I can ever get, being popular is just for greed/pride purposes, thats not for me.

I think this is one of the best tutorials u can find….

NEVER GIVE UP.

sorry about the errors…im a bit lazy and tired…and Im mexican lol…hate to correct grammar. Im lazy..not all mexicans XD

I’ve noticed that some cartoonists will start on a story and then sort of don’t go any further. They don’t know how to finish the story, or just stop in the middle. Most of my comix are very short and then I can create another comic story later on using the same characters. I’m amazed at the 1,000s of page stories here on The Duck, but that doesn’t really work for me. This is a nice tutorial encouraging cartoonists to NEVER GIVE UP. Thanks.
