The difference between this firs page and the title-page art is that this is actually several months older.
I have had this page ready, scanned and waiting for a long time, but with out the title-page I didn't feel like uploading it.
Now, however, it is hear and we get to know a little of Amy's confused (and frozen) thoughts.
Mina_lunga: She's not actually naked, but the color of the night dress is a very pale pink so I understand the confusion. Also, the line on her back might give that feeling. I had a bit trouble with the colors because of the snow storm. I could not make them too strong to have the right feeling, but still wanted to get they shadows in. In all and all I think it went well. Especially after I think about how much effort I put into getting the shading not too strong but not too week either.

Night is extremely hard to do. . . I still haven't found a way to manage night scenes that really makes me happy. Good luck! It's clear here that she has a nightgown on, but obviously she needs to get out of the snow quickly!
