Fiona Cray wakes up one day in a land she doesn't know. In her front lawn, a spire has grown, reaching up higher than she can see. A spire of green shoots from the North, and a voice seems to be calling her toward it. Then, her phone buzzes, and she knows she isn't alone. Her friends are in a similar land, all as scared as she is. The monolith holds ancient writings, telling about an ancient evil threatening to unravel the threads of reality itself, and they are destined to stop it.
