Analysis of image.
1) PILOT – Herrman Goering was the commander of the Luftwaffe (German Airforce) during World War II. Goering, throughout his career, under the weight of his power began to do copious amounts of drugs. By the time the War ended he was “shooting up” multiple times per day.
2) BOMBS – The bombs represent the sheer, nigh unto overwhelming munitions and firepower used by the German Luftwaffe during World War II. The term overkill has been ascribed to Nazi bombing tactics by more than a few military tacticians.
3) PEOPLE – The Battle of Britain lasted nearly an entire year. Almost non-stop bombing by the German Luftwaffe to neutralize the Royal Air Force and shatter the morale and infrastructure of Britain. The Battle of Britain is sometimes referred to as the Luftwaffe first major defeat. As one can tell by the apathetic-ness of the Londer’s on the ground.
4) FIRE – The bombings of the German Luftwaffe were so common that many buildings would still be on fire even before the bombs landed.
5) TEDDY BEAR – There are a few theories and stories roaming around out there that the Nazi’s attempted to parachute in some of their troops for the sake of espionage. There is not much substantial evidence to support any claims, if such an event took place, they did just about as much good as a teddy bear.
