Costumes. Megaman is the Red Power Ranger if It wasn't too obvious.
Link is Spiderman. Hence the red and blue. And Mario is Fireflower Mario. Lakitu is Lakitu. nuff said.

Actually, Megaman's outfit is a refrence to Bob and George. In the first Halloween Special where Megaman is the Pink Ranger.
