…And with this hair-raising ending, I leave you all with a special announcement: A Deviant Mind is going on hiatus for a few months.
There's no help for it, really–my schedule doesn't allow me to work on two series at the same time, and House of the Muses has suffered greatly for it. I'm a little jealous of my new baby here, so to speak. In a few short months it's met and surpassed the popularity of the House of the Muses series, although I find it curious that I haven't sold many of the Deviant Mind comics as of yet except for a handful at MidOhio Con.
House of the Muses started out as an obligation of sorts, and then turned into a labor of love. The present waning of the series troubles me a bit, and I've come too far to abandon it now.
So I'm going to resume work on the last three issues of House of the Muses, endure the sagging ratings of it, just so I can call it a job well done. It is simply the way of things. This time will also give me more opportunity to look through the ancient notes of my early writings of A Deviant Mind, elaborate on the plotline (because it certainly doesn't end here) and it will debut here again when it's ready. It will also make sure I deliver the best damn story possible. It will be worth it in the long run. The story's still writing itself as we speak.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for coming along for the ride. I didn't do a half bad job of bringing this old story back to life, and here's to many more years of stories to come.

It's the same thing as when Tara slipped into Adrian's head earlier in this issue, just a mere mind game, mental imagery, illusion...in this case she makes Tiolo think he's seeing Adrian instead of Tara. Then off she goes.

@Xatiav: Yep, it's Wowio, available everywhere. And you can read my pdfs on ANY reader device. Nope, Adrian's not dead, she's only sleeping. ;) And her feelings ARE pretty hurt, guaranteed. These two aren't exactly Bogey and Bacall, but there's the start of a new love story here; twist of the classic tale of questing hero(ine) longing for the girl she left behind. ;) @ghostrunner: OMG. O.o I know that movie. I don't think I have the strength. :P @kaleygeminni: Safe bet, no. @plymayer: Keep those pages burning....;)
Xatiav at 4:24AM, Nov. 17, 2010
As long as the said online version is downloadable, it's a pretty good idea. x)
ghostrunner at 3:51AM, Nov. 17, 2010
eventually you can fry her mind again, she could forget you, and we'd have the online version of 50 first dates >_>
Xatiav at 2:26AM, Nov. 17, 2010
As long as she didn't kill her, everything's fine, I'll wait for the next... D: 'Cause it was a real and very low betrayal! D: Adrian would eventually lose all faith in her..

uh oh this isn't good
