The Calm Before the Storm: A Moment of Friendly Bonding.

Egads! I've done another strip this week? Okay so it has The World's Worst Background, but it still took me too long by half.
Yes that is the rescue center where Jared works as an Emergency Medical Technician, which means he drives the ambulance and is the first on the scene of any accidents. And that dialog bubble to the right is Brad, Jared's partner at work.
I'm going to try and get another strip done for my usual time on Monday and then return to my once-a-week schedule, but it might be late depending on how quickly I manage to work. I'll do my best, but bear with me.
Also I will be trying to add a proper background to my page sometime soon, but until then I'm using a blue color that I find strangely appealing. If any of you hate it or it burns out your retinas, let me know and I'll change it.

Nice. We learn more about Jared here. That's good. Sometimes backgrounds aren't really even neccessary, IMO...

Hello to all! First off, Kid, your eyes are just tender little orbs anyway, and you're doing just fine; this Monday's comic is well under way. Nigbun, thanks for the compliment on the art and color. Kid deserves the praise while I, the lowly colorist, do not. As to your suggestion, I agree that shading would help the tone a lot, but I don't have any skill with it and the last time I tried it I messed up real bad. Heck, I was going to post these strips in black and white at first, so shading may come soon enough down the line, but we'll have to see.

Gawd, I know how he feels. I've had so many people making fun of me in my english class because some wise guy thought it would be funny to put me with the wrong crowd. I have no friends there TT__TT The art (both colours and drawing) seems to be improving! (though I would like to see some shading sometime in the future, maybe? :3 )

It tends to scorch my retinas slightly--but hey, that's my opinion and remember, mine counts for squat ;) I hope you can manage to get your other one up in time...now I have to work faster-- you're already catching up to my work rate! (The heat is on!) It's a race! A race I say! A race for what? ;)
