Anyone think they look like stairs? No, me neither.
The security guard isn't actually that big, it's just to show how she feels so lost and small compared to him, who looks big and well… secure.
I'm on holiday right now, so won't be able to reply to comments until Sunday (hurrah for DD upload)
Another page will be set to auto-load on Saturday.

Oh my Gawd, I'm so relieved she made it out. *takes a breath* I was positive the door would lead to that creeper-guy's room! The suspense was destroying me! Also, thanks for commenting on AKAL! =D

(Reply to Sophie tribute is on Tribute page.) Lamiah- Thank you very much :) I'm glad you like it (and can read it, hehe). Tommym- Wow, the quote you said about banging on the door is very clever, even better than I have done/could do :) I very much liked your concept/grasp on the way of the language :) Hm... something that could be of assistance in a Gothic Tale for modern times? Sounds like just what I need :) Is there any way you could paraphrase for me? (If the passage is too big, then not worry, I shall try to find the book here in England). You do enjoy your research, don't you? You must be such a clever and knowledgeable man. I did not receive your photos, I am sorry to say. Would you like to send them again. I am also sorry that I have not replied to your recent PQs and email. I shall do so as soon as I have finished replying to your comments on here. I often find my mind wandering. I do hope that you don't take this personally. Yours, as ever, in Goth (I don't know where you thought that from, but it sounds very nice, thank you.)
