the endless.. dream and his sister death and there siblings in the sandman comics have there roots in Greek myth..so yeah they are gods. they are the children of the goddess nix/ darkness. I am very fond of Neil Gaiman's work. have you read the graveyard book ? American Gods, Coraline are also his work..
