many of the gods use insanity as a weapon.. the former hades was on better terms with the god of wine then Lan Hades is.. the madness of pookas is/was seeing there grim reality as unreal and escaping mentally into dreams..

No he gave them as I understand it the ability to visit his realm in dreams, if I remember correctly. This is likely how they ended up being somewhat coordinated even when they were breaking themselves out.

Really not a good idea to anger the gods, especially the ones who enjoy being angry. x.x Lan sure has to spend a lot of his time working his way out of trouble. I hope none of his family gets hurt.
