I was rereading and realized something when they were escaping from Olympus. Warmwind was saying that the, “best case scenario” was having their powers bound and sold into slavery. That’s what happened to Lana, her powers and memories were bound; locked away and was sold into slavery. Poor Lana

This is beginning to sound like Time Travel has confused things... Between when we last saw Thermal and Lana, and this meeting with Lan...

Um not really, the time travel only worked to send Warmwind, Kite, Elvina, and all those kids several years into the past. Sometime later, after Lana came to existence do to circumstances unknown Lana was sent to Terra and even further into the past. So by the time she meets Lan, she's a teenager. Due to the lock most of Lana's powers and memories are sealed away. So Lan believed that any powers she had at the time were her only powers until she aged enough to acquire more. As dragons gain powers as she aged. Lan would have no knowledge of the lock or the powers that were locked away.
