That key reminds me of the key in The Lost Room miniseries. You can use it on any door with a keyhole to enter a time-locked motel room in the middle of the desert, and then exit again through any other locked door. Great way to teleport around the world and escape from danger. There are a bunch of other magical items of varying power associated with that motel room scattered around the world, it's a really neat viewing experience. Only Warmwind could get trapped in a situation where he feels obligated to apologize to his daughter for saving her life.

I think its just okay for Lana, she already ate food from the realm of the dead anyway when Thermal gave her some of his snacks to get her arm unstuck. She's one of those "gray" beings that can go back and forth between the realms of life and death do to her circumstances

I can see from Warmwind's point of things. He knew Lana would suffer if he brought her to life but did so anyway. Suffering vs nonexsistence is a tough decision. But I think Lana will see things differently.
