i considered tossing 3 pages and giving you a nice easy answer… and starting over..
because.. i tend to down play the elements of reincarnation in the story..i mostly figure the story works with out you knowing i have this stupid collection of dragon myths and parables.. that mostly include a very well meaning apologetic dragon and his rider that do something horrible often while trying to be helpful…but the effects of ww past life failings have effects the most pointed being the mother of dragons being some one that very pointedly ignores ww.. so posting it ruff and ugly
rather then tossing it..

blood from gods are powerful stuff so i do understand why warmwind really doesn't want to do this. Heck even spit from gods are powerful too. Ra nearly died because Isis did make a venomous snake out of his spit. so it bite him. Dying he asked gods for help.. they couldn't help him. but Isis could.. for a price. he was going to give her his powers to her. so he accepted the deal. Isis now the most powerful god ever to walk.. and is not evil. she only took it from him because Ra was abit too insane to keep it all.

Characters and their tales are great, but they happen in a world that impacts what they do. Building that world is important.

These aren't ugly stories, and that's a beautiful myth you created. It's a fact that kindness isn't always the smart or wise thing to do, which is something worth thinking about.

Honestly if those stories are based off of WW and Lan's passed lives than while they might have kernels of truth they're lies. WW left his post afterwards all the evils of the world were let in long before that.

This story was basically pandoras box..with the dragon view of being steadfast in your task.. and duty first.. being the virtue promoted.. and the dragons needing a scapegoat to punish for there sins..lady death points out the lies in the story later..but most of the stories are archetypes tales to explain things.. and the offical dragon version isnt quite the same story as what ww remembers.. . its basically what if you woke up one morning and remembered a few 1000 years of history. And your just like well that was horrible and stupid.
