So im guessing based on Hawk not wearing a hat, he's much healthier now, feathers have regrown to regulate his body heat, possibly with new wings. I have to imagine fixing Hawk's wings took priority over the bracelets, which are basically just a more elegant upgrade to the phone-like voicebox Habibah already had, and really the bracelets could have been delegated to someone else, its apparently not especially rare for Pooka to have either underdeveloped or damaged vocal cords, and reading paw motions and translating them to audio is a lot simpler. Not the easiest place to put the sensors, as the back of the paw can block a lot, but there are ways around that.

"I have a good idea", reminds me of a scene in Until Dawn where one character says "I have a GREAT idea... let's go hug a bear!". Also, I like the sign-translating bracelets, properly designed they could also draw power from the motions being made so H shouldn't have to worry about losing power.

depends on what principle the sensors operate on, but not having a screen and having more combined volume for battery helps as well

I didn't know Wheels and Spencer knew each other as kids. Though that may be an exaggeration. Dragons live long lives after all and Spencer probably spent a long time as a kid. The moose looks domesticated at least
