sometimes i feel very sad over things that will never happen. I think if I had picked a different path would the world be very different. would it be happier or would it be sadder. I morn the things wished for that will never happen. but I am also grateful that darker paths did not unfold. i wish you a happy new year…

Heartbreaking to consider what is lost, even to a world that is on the whole worse than the current one, a lot of positive things happen. Many time travel stories touch on this; Looper and several Star Trek episodes come to mind. I will miss Beta Mango and wish her well, I'm sure she's got at least one trick up her sleeve to deal with closing timelines.

one assumes there would be an afterlife for averted timelines....I kinda picture a lot of people standing around the infinite white featureless plane..passing around and sharing pizza... you know.. because featureless plane... so no tables to put them on

Well this was bitter sweet, but it was expected. I'm glad that darker timeline didn't happen in the end
