Movement One, Brief Intermission

The next page is taking a little longer than expected to make.
Also throw into the mix my friend introducing me to Puzzle Pirates about four days ago….and cut to now, I still haven't done any of my work for this week.
Harrrrrrr.
So to let you know I'm still here and still working on the comic, here is some brief intermission-time entertainment.
This is the first sketch of Adagio ever created. As you can see, he is largely unchanged from his original design, though the tattoo hasn't gotten nearly enough airtime (it says “I am John G.”, points to anyone who gets the reference), and I continually feel like the look of the mask has changed, though people tell me I'm crazy.
So, without further ado, I present to you, Adagio: the original.

Memento is a movie that came out a bunch of years ago, starring Guy Pierce as a guy who suffered severe head trauma and loses all capacity to make and keep new memories. This makes life in generally difficult for him, especially as he's seeking revenge on the man who gave him said head trauma, and who also raped and murdered his wife while he was at it. But how did he remind himself to keep searching for the killer every morning? He had a tattoo made on his chest, which reads "John G. raped and murdered your wife."

...Oh. Well, dunno what that is. I'm going to nod my head and be passive now.

yeah, definately a reference to memento. Adiago would be the killer that the main character is hunting.

Isn't that a reference to Momento?
Argent_Nightmare at 1:48PM, June 21, 2007
Love it... though, could you please explain the reference? I'm rather curious...

Still easily one of the best Civil War designs. I just finished my last exam a couple of hours ago, so I'm going to be back around here again too with some new stuff. It's been so long, I bet I can't even hold a pencil now, let alone get a new page out.

Still think its an awesome design ^_^
