Peculiar Parables Part 2

Air Raid Robertson on Feb. 27, 2011

I wanted to cram in this one last page before the month is out. Seven pages in a month isn't a bad total by my personal standards.

For you new kids, Krull-Gor the Mighty is a recurring nemesis for Air Raid Robertson. He first appeared in “Welcome to the Jungle”, which was also the first Air Raid Robertson story ever. It ended with him getting brutally slaughtered. He came back as a zombie warlock in the “Phenomenal Voyage” storyline. He was brutally slaughtered at the end of that one too.

Of course, death can never seem to keep a supervillain down for all that long. This is especially so for a supervillain in the “evil wizard” mode. With that in mind, it seemed like a good idea to bring Krull-Gor back for my Dr. Strange homage/rip-off storyline.

Plus, I'm keenly interested in the growth and development of antagonists for Air Raid Robertson. Everyone knows that an adventure hero is only as interesting as the bad guys he has to fight.

Krull-Gor is paraphrasing Captain Ahab's final curse against Moby Dick for his rant in panel one. Of course, if you're reading this webcomic it is entirely plausible that you're as nerdy as me. And, in this case, you may be more familiar with the “hell's heart” quote in the context of Star Trek.
