The Undiscovered Self Page 11

Air Raid Robertson on Jan. 31, 2012

Some of you may have noticed that this page is going up a little early. I've been doing things on a “one pageevery three days” schedule for the month and I just put up a new page yesterday. So, why did I put up page eleven today?

Well, I didn't post a new page on January 1. (I was, ahem, recovering) So, this makes up for that oversight. With this page I have done eleven pages of Air Raid Robertson for a single month, which I believe is a personal best for me. This also means that I am well on my way for reaching my goal of a hundred pages for 2012.

As you probably guessed, the pebble metaphor that Air Raid Robertson paraphrases on this page is contained within Carl Jung's novel The Undiscovered Self. I did have the idea for this storyline before I read that particular book, but when I came across the pebble metaphor it seemed like a great point to address here. I also think it's a solid framing sequence for the last third of the plot.

At the moment, I'm under the impression that this story will wrap up with page sixteen or seventeen. Then again, I may want to expand or constrict certain scenes. So, one should take that statement as a rough estimate.
