I don't really get how someone can go from singing about how they hate preps (In Complicated, “Take off all your preppy clothes”; plus Sk8er Boi is entirely about a snobby girl getting her just deserts) to shaking their butt to a cheer about stealing some girl's boyfriend (see the music video for Girlfriend). The song has such lines as, “I'm the motherf*ckin' princess” and “In a second you'll be wrapped around my finger”. Then there's the whole scene of the video where she's taking off his clothes and pushing him into a bathroom stall, which I thought was strange after lines like, “Did I not I tell you that I'm not like that girl, the one who throws it all away?” from her last album. To wrap this up, here's the chorus from Nobody's Fool, from her first album. It speaks for itself:
“If you're tryin' to turn me into someone else
It's easy to see I'm not down with that
I'm not nobody's fool

As for my updatery, I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone. The past more than a month has been the busiest I've had in a long time. For those of you who didn't know, I just graduated which meant that I had prom, tons of last minute assignments and tests, graduation-related things, and chores, on top of the fact that I'm trying to learn to drive, and that my boss insists I can work from open to close since there's no school, and that I've gotten addicted to Paper Mario, I've haven't had much time for comic making. Within the next couple weeks, though, I will do another one of my weeks where I update every day. From there, we'll see, but I'll promise you that for now. Thanks for not killing me.
