Okay, before you say anything like “WHOA! Deja Vu!” I will explain this.
I sorta cheated on the November cartoon for the Antcomics calendar, which is what you see here. I used the last frame of this cartoon:
http://www.drunkduck.com/Antcomics/index.php?p=302672
…and changed Adam's speech bubble.
Now, there are two reasons this is the November page but NOT a Thanksgiving piece…
a)Not all nations celebrate Thanksgiving. Many people that are going to download this calendar are Europeans, Asians, etc.
b) November is Adam's B-day month so most Antfans will want to see a birthday theme.
I almost didn't post this because it's sort of a ‘repeat performance’, but decided to so that the whole set will be up here at DD. It was fun to color, and one of the easier calendar pages I did.
Now on to the final one–and there will be an Xmas theme!! Yayy!

Molly: Wow, I think I have seen some of her images but didn't realize who she was or that she was a comic book artist. Cool, thanks for the heads up! I'll have to check it out! Ersatz: Thanks, man! Bocaj: And thank you as well!
Bocaj at 11:58AM, Dec. 5, 2007
Love the coloring.
Ersatz at 11:57AM, Dec. 5, 2007
Haha! One of my faves! I don't celebrate Thanksgiving myself (being a limey), and I don't think I said this last month, sooooooo....... HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING! :)

Aww, poor Adam! Antcomics, have you ever read anything by Chynna Clugston- Major? The character in Blue Monday is a big Adam Ants fan too!

How old is Adam Ant?
antcomics at 10:15AM, Dec. 5, 2007
Thanks Fitz! Really, it's kind of weird when you learn the true story of it all. Chamkid: Thanks! I can't wait to do the Xmas one! cs3: :o) TheMidge: Totally agreed. That's the reason I celebrate it!
TheMidge28 at 9:45AM, Dec. 5, 2007
still works for me! I totally understand your reasoning. I really feel thanksgiving should be more of a world holiday since its more about being thankful and being with family and friends instead of just being about turkey and pilgrims and indians in America....but what can be done.

Heh...

Despite deja vu, I still think this is a good one and I like it. :) And it makes sense--what sort of Ant calendar would it be if it didn't clearly show its celebration of Adam's birthday? Can't wait to see the Christmas one! ^_^
Fitz at 8:28AM, Dec. 5, 2007
It makes perfect sense, since it's Adam's birthday. And yup, I'm a European myself, so no Turkey Day for me ;)

PR: Thanks, I appreciate that. :) HarryQ, Trevora: Gracias dudes. Crocty: Marco will of course! :o)

Xmas them for December? I'd have never guessed... (Who'll be dressed up as Santa I wonder...)

It's still good.
