Yeah I decided to do this one in color. Mostly because I feel I have neglected the poor Antz as of late (I am deep into another comic I just started, and I fell I've been giving it a little more attention than Adam and Company)…
So, I bring you the new page, in technicolor! Woooo!
I was going to make the amount here $10,000, but since the Ants are British…I converted it to pounds (sorta). Six thousand pounds, according to the currency converter I consulted, is equal to roughly $11,000 USD. Yeah, it IS a lotta lettuce, Marco!
This was an ass-kicker for sure. But I used this page to kind of experiment and play around with stuff. That last panel was just a last minute thing (the swirlies and stuff, that is). I promise I was not smoking anything when I drew that. Honest!
Anyhow. I will probably color the next page too. Can't promise that the whole arc will be in color, but at least some pages will be.

Kikaru: In real life, they were...but it's so much more fun here to make them a struggling, poor band... Steely: Thanks. I had realized I hadn't done many Ant closeups so this was fun. I particularly liked doing the detailing on the Kings jacket in the 'swirly' panel.

Nice! I like the coloring on this one, and that last panel is definitely a winner; it's rare that we get close-ups with the Ants, and a hilarious close-up like that just makes it all the better! If I recall correctly (I probably don't) wasn't there a meme or something where we saw Adam in a suit? I took the 5 last time, so I'll let CK use it today. 5 from me!

PR: Thanks! WoW: You are talking about the Antz here...they tried that once but they kept having to dip into it. They're paycheck-to-paycheck kinda guys these days... :D

Hey, I am gonna try and answer comments today! I have time! Yayyy Bocaj: Yeah it came out long. I wanted to break it in two, but it just didn't work somehow. Plus I owed the Ants. They were beginning to feel unloved. ;p Disgruntled: Oh! yeah I tried to let everyone know I was here. My tripod site was being a real bitch so I ditched it.
