08 - Requiem

To start with a commentary cliché: I really like how this comic turned out. I was originally going to end with a black panel that read the dates of Neo's first appearance and his death, but that messed up the feeling the first three panels gave me.
I'm especially fond of the second panel. It took some heavy duty sprite editing, but in the end it turned out exactly as I had in mind.
I did this one for two reasons. The first is that I wanted to give a bit more insight to Arthur's character. Even though he just met the guy, he's not going to just let him lie there to rot.
The second reason is that I mentioned I'd go a bit slower on the story, which in turn gave me the opportunity to make time for this comic.
Tomorrows update won't be as depressing though, I promise.

Sentimental.. But hey, why not. It's variable. And that's a good thing.

You could still have had the first 3 and then gone to the neo's bios one. Or whatever you call it. 5 for awesomeness of continiuity for support though!

This is really impressive thus far. The characters actually have some sort of personality. It gives us the impression that it is going somewhere without a huge wall of text for us to drown in. And best of all it FEELS like a comic! Very very impressive. 5'd out of 5.

Depressing is good. Better than random name-knowing.
