Page 11 - OUTTAKE: Rejected Panel

Sometimes, you think something is going to work but when you finally see it put together with the other elements of the scene it just doesn't work. This is one of those times. I thought the idea of a dressing screen that was actually an energy wall would work form a “space princess”. Once it rendered, it lost the feelI wanted and just didn't seem like something the Princess would have in her boudoir.
You'll see the final panel on page 12 of Voyage of the Broken Promise.

@Jamie59: It's all about the presentation.

Can't see the Princess being shy about anything once the makeup is on.

@ElCid: Campy. That's the word I was looking for! No shortage of anything for the Princess. If she wants something, she will get it. I was also thinking that the Princess' tastes would run along the lines of something classic and unique and not gimmicky. Just like the old MGM days! RPublishing is one of my go-to creators when I'm looking for something special. I've never found a more royal looking bedroom. I could wish for a bit of flexibility with the bed, like some morphs for the bed covers. But then, maybe the Princess prefers to sleep on top of them. ;)

@plymayer: Thanks! Who knows, it may pop up again somewhere.

I was actually using that exact same set for a scene in my comic. Well, I changed it a bit, but you could still tell. I guess we're both filming at the same studio!

A neat idea, but maybe a bit too campy. Is there a shortage of regular building materials on her planet?

Interesting though.
