AA Page 13!

Well here we are with another page. Not the best..I've been critisized for my lack of detail on the building, but it's alright.
Anyway time for a rant. I finally bought the excellent Uncut Edition of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. It's very much worth the $7 Amazon charged me. Commentary on the whole movie, plus there's blood in this edition! And a more grisly fate for the Joker.
Also part of my purchase was the Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman movie. I was surprised by what I saw. While not as good as Return of the Joker, the movie has a very different vibe than most Batman stuff. It reminded me a bit of the comic 100 Bullets. We get to see a lot of gang warfare, and there's a lot of multi-layered stories to it as well as red herrings to throw you off track of who Batwoman really is. Unfortunatly Bruce Timm, Glen Murakami, and Paul Dini didn't work on this movie, and are only mentioned in a ‘Special Thank-You’ at the end of the movie. Kind of strange, seeing as though they were the ones who brought such life into the Batman Animated Series. But it's interesting watching the movie when you know different people did it. Gives it a real ‘other-worldly’ feel, and was a great look at Gotham. Though I did think some of the character's lines could be better…
I recommend them both though.

For some odd reason, that building reminds me of the Alamo 0.o

I envy you guys that are able to enjoy the Batman thing. When I was little the only Batman I saw was the camp live action TV version and the silly animated batman in the Super friends... After those two, nothing else seems like the real Batman. The serious, 'dark' versions seem like imposters. :( So he managed to escape afterall? There really is a conspiricy here

Bah, I think the building looks fine! It always reminds me of a face! XD The far away angle in the first panel gives it a great effect! Ah, Batman... I really do miss the Animated Series of that...
