RANT OF THE DAY
==================
WHY I HATE MMORPGs…
- They cost money - You have to pay fucking monthly fees for that shit? And for the “free” ones, items and costumes you have to pay for them
-They are highly addictive - For some reason, they drive the players into a high-addictive frenzy that is comparable to drug addiction. Players at that level of addiction are willing to go berserk, kill themselves, and cause problems. Addiction to MMORPGs will have the same effect on the addict as a drug. I've seen it first hand with my 10 year old brother that when he was isolated from the MMORPG called MAPLE STORY for 1 fucking day, he showed withrawal symptoms. Like a fucking drug addict.
Wtf is with MAPLE STORY? Why the fuck did he get addicted to such a sissy-ass, girlie-themed MMORPG!!! You're one little big headed fuckwad constantly killing sissie-shaped “monsters” that I dont even feel like shooting. If you're a soldier killing a bunch of terrorists or blowing up tanks, I'd understand that.
- Constant updating Cmon like wtf! What is the point of playing a game that never finishes? You never win eh? And the constant updates contribute to the high addictiveness. Since the uber-immersed addict keeps on finishing quest after quest after quest, the more and the more they will play that shit.
Unlike other games that once you beat the final boss or constantly keep winning online battles, you will get bored of it.
Yeah. FUCK MMORPGS!!! They ruined my brother… >:
If I have my way, I'd forcibly send him to the drug addiction centre. But now what do I have if I do that? Child abuse? Harrassment? wtf!!!
I swear… if ever my brother kills himself or does something stupid cuz of an MMORPG, I WILL FUCKING SUE THE GAME COMPANY!!!
Meh… had to vent again… lol…

I love MMORPGs. I will never pay for them, but I love them. Remember, there are a bunch of free ones on the internet (Maplestory and Runescape are examples of the worst, both graphics and for level of fun, kind of free MMOs). The whole addiction thing, so what? If you play something constantly and still enjoy it, is it not then a good game? That is what a good game does. I also love the concept that the game never really finishes, that there is another goal, another step up the ladder. It keeps my attention. At the end of the day, there are many things one can do with life. But, first and foremost, is personal fun. As such, if MMORPGs give you that, why does it matter that you lose other parts of life? Why is the rest of life, which may be less fun, more important? I'm going to answer that particular question now, schoolwork. That's why I stopped playing. But otherwise, I don't think I would have.

I 've played loads of MMO's but somehow I've resisted the urge to become exceedingly addicted to it. Perhaps when one really catches my eye.. Oh well. Love the way you're doing the art mate!

Reminds me of world of warcraft... I haven't been on it for 2 weeks. I acomplished everything I wanted to in the game. I am through. The game will expire in the end of this month. I must resist all urges to come back... Remember kids: "Friends don't let friends play MMORPGs!"

I don't like games where you have to level up constantly...it's so tedious and pointless. I wouldn't mind MMORPG's as much if they didn't have that. They should all just have some sort of power, let them get skills from PLAYING and not from leveling up. >.> (Like with shooters or whatever.) "OMG, I'm level 75." Well la dee freakin' da! You have no life. XP Anyway nice page. I especially like the second panel, Ced looks gooood.^^
