I know some of you bummed out over the drop in BGH updates, but did you notice that I was updating my Drunk Duck Civil War Tie-in? Go to the link at the bottom of this box and check it out
Y'know what I've noticed? Once people have been through a really horrible run they often come out of it basically unstoppable. It's like they dealt with all the crap up front and then nothing else is ever as bad by comparison. And then while the rest of us are doing the "Oh, I I'm too scared/lazy/whatever to do [fill-in-the-blank]" or whatever, the people who've done it tough just bulldoze through and get all the cool stuff DONE.
In short: life sucks, but you become superhuman out of it. Is that a fair swap? Buggered if I know.
P.S. I hear that volunteering to help a charity like a soup kitchen sometimes helps - at least then you get to focus on someone else's problems and forget your own for a while...
Youth is overrated.
Time heals, although not in the way you may think.
Forgetting is not an option, and regretting isn't one either; strive forward, dedicate yourself to setting aside your own wants and desires, and try to grow into the best man you can be.
That's what's working for me.
Hehe, Replace his hand... again. Classic.
You have a fan base... so now is not the time to do "something bad" (theRedDeath).
Still... 5/5.
:)
"Staying sad only lasts so long... sooner or later, your gonna have to do something." -You did not hear this last bit from me...
That is all.
Hey buddy! I'm glad to see you updating again, and I'm sorry I didn't call earlier. The day after we chatted online I found out the guy I was involved in a car accident with hired an attorney and said he was "injured", so I had a bunch of junk to deal with regarding that. Long story short, the car is FINALLY in the shop and I'm done with ridiculous amounts of meetings and work after school. Any chance you'd be available tomorrow for call? I mean, it feels like I haven't talked to you in ages and that SUCKS.
FYI - if ever life seems so horrible that it's useless to be where you are, come down south to Mexico way and chill with your good buddy for as long as you need. I'm serious. It's a heck of a drive but we could play a heck of a lot of Shadows Over Camelot. No one down here likes to play... :(
Well even though you are so down right now, I am thankful you are still alive and I am sure many other people are too. Whoever said that when you are young that life is grand is crazy just like the person who says High School years are the "glory years." The truth is no matter what age you are, life is always going to have its ups and downs. What makes facing the downs worthwhile though is that there is always something to bring you up just beyond the horizon. It may be something stupid but there is always something that makes us as humans realize that life is worth living even if you have to put up with a lot of junk. This may not help you but my advice to you is to set goals for yourself. Maybe if you had some short-term goals and one long-term goal it would make your life easier and seem like you are accomplishing something instead of just floating in a haze through life. Another piece of advice is to take it one day at a time. Some days will seem rough but there is always a day that comes soon after that that makes you feel like life is just a barrel of monkeys with just as many laughs. Just try your best everyday and no one can ask for more.
Let me just say that life is full of possibilities, end your life and they all disappear. Wait it out while living your life, and it will eventually look up. That's the good thing about being young, not that it's the best time of your life, but there is so much out there for you to do/become.
I've slit my wrist before and I was bleeding so badly I needed a transfusion.
My Advice, talk to your Girlfriend or a really close friend.
I talk to my Ex Lauren often and she seems to be the only one who can bring me back into the light.
Try it. ^^
I know that it may not sound like much coming from a stranger, but what you do here means a lot to some people, including myself! You have a wonderful talent to tell great stories! Keep your head high and look to the future.
...By the way nice work on this comic!

Glad you didn't... ya know, die. I mean, I don't know you, but it would still suck if you were dead.
