Great story, but a predictable reveale. I think the main reason you suprised everyone is that like Klytus they simply forgot about Dan's most powerful enemy, himself.

I figured it was him nudging Dan in the direction he (Paradox) needs Dan to go for his (Dan's) eventual, evil future. Otherwise bad Dan will never exist. Prepare for a plot driven future SD!

@Xade: Paradox is, well, a paradox. Most writers use the idea that time travelers would themselves be unaffected by changes made while in the past. Either RedDeath will follow the same or adopt another plot device all his own. Either way I figure it'll be a doozy :) Oh, and my thanks again to Red for bringing us such a fine comic.

you know, I was wondering, if Dan completely drifts from the...evil future and stays good, would that mean that Paradox would return home because he is too good to stay and risk the timeline?
