even if the silver sucker was aware of evan, he would probably still have gone "worth it!" it truly is amazing how we have gone from radioactive superman and guys coming back from the dead by cthulu the lunch lady, making a device that utilizes dolphins to destroy the world, and all the while leaving just enough time to get dan laid to pandora's tube, silence of the superpowered lambs, evan's mom being a hologram, the place the comic was named after getting pwned into oblivion, hellish possesion leading into a craptastic future, entire orders of universal peace desintigrating in panels per second, and whats worse, we have no idea what the vice principal is doing in his free time with all those poor innocent kittens! its like my childhood. "yay, nothing makes sense but its awesome!" *adulthood* "all my childhood dreams and friends are burning in a bonfire lit in the flames of war and abomination and OMG THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME! why havent i been dancing in this firelight before!" yeah, i read your comic in three or four days, definetly worth my time. 200 pages a day hurts though.

so your saying that when whomever wrote the script for sky high didn't like the direction the producers were going with sky high he gave you the script so that you could do it better. seriously sky high was lame, this rocks. if you did rip it off, then you did a better job than the halo team. not that you did rip them, or anyone, off mind you.

I'm 99'9% certain neither Groening nor any "Futurama" writers are aware of this comic. I'm kinda just acting mad to be funny. I mean it IS frustrating to have an idea, and then have something more mainstream use that idea too. It's the same thing with "Sky High". How many times do I get called out on "ripping off" Sky High, when in reality BGH started a year before the movie even came out?

Chances are that Matt Groening is not aware of this comic at all. However, these kind of episodes are written and picked apart by a whole team of writers. I'd say it's far more likely that one of those writers must have heard of your "bitten by a radioactive superman" concept and taken credit for it.

Hm. So, the most original gag in a comic full of homages, being bitten by a radioactive Superman, gets ganked by what used to be one of the more original writing teams on television. What, no reacharound? I'd say at least an acknowledgement would be in order. Meantime! Yet another rockin' strip. Legs! Hooters! Kirby Krakkle! High-tech moped theft!
