BGH#497 The Price We Pay

One thing I didn't make explicitly clear in the last comments section (Because I thought it was pretty clear IN the comic) was that, here at the very end of BGH, Evan has truly grown as a character. That he has changed, and learned the lesson that true power comes from within, and that it can't be obtained easily. Because that's the whole point of fiction, that the character has changed from who he was at the beginning of the story.

Contrastingly, we have here Death Master, who is learning all too late the ultimate reward for those we seek power from an outside source.
