Hmm... yeah that is true. Would it be morally wrong to make such cute round dogs do such a bloody act? Aw well, screw morality :P

Wow, it'll be interesting to see how gore works with this cute style you have! (I don't mean that in a nasty way, I am genuinly interested to see how you handle it and how it will look) Anyway, they look so cute again! ^-^
